Stephanie Mayer, Founder and President, created this nonprofit to honor the legacy of a gentle yet powerful servant-leader, the late Candye M. Brown. Mrs. Brown was affectionately known as “Ms. Candye” to those who knew her in the small, charming town of Raeford, NC.
Being the grand-daughter of Ms. Candye afforded Stephanie to see firsthand what being actively involved in missions and community service was all about. Ms. Candye impacted and touched those around her one life at a time, which is what Stephanie vows to continue.
Both Ms. Candye’s and Stephanie’s hands have brought happiness and inspiration to many people whether through cooking, giving, playing music, or other acts of kindness. We believe their combined passions and love for the youth will make a long lasting impression on this generation and hopefully other generations to come.
