PROGRAM

Our program provides professional music and recording arts education for children ages 5 to17 years old. The curriculum is aligned with the national STEM/STEAM program which exposes students to the science of sound, technology, engineering, arts and math. Our classes are taught by accomplished artists and songwriters.

KEYBOARD

Students will learn basic music theory, rhythm technique, sight-reading, ear training and some of today s popular songs.

VOICE

Students will learn vocal/choral technique and stage presence. Various styles of music will be studied during the program.

COMPILATION CD

Students will have a Demo CD (1 to 3 songs) by the end of the program.

LIVE PERFORMANCE

Students will be given the opportunity to display their talents at the Youth Talent Showcase. The showcase will be at the culmination of the program.

SONG WRITING

Students will create original songs, learn basic song structure and arrangement. They will be exposed to basic lyrical content such as: melody, voice range, and musical structure.

RECORDING

Students will learn how to operate a digital audio workstation. They will get hands on music production experience in creating loops, tracks, editing, and mixing. Most importantly, students will record their own creative ideas.
